AWARE7 GmbH moves into its own offices!

At the end of 2018 we founded the Live Hacking & Awareness division from the Institute for Internet Security and founded AWARE7 GmbH. Now, with a total of 10 employees, we move to the south of Gelsenkirchen and claim offices to grow further.

From 01.06 AWARE7 GmbH is separated from the WHS

For a little more than half a year we had the opportunity to stay at the Institute for Internet Security. But after half a year after the foundation of the company and five years at the Westfälische Hochschule, it is time for a change of location. The university itself is an optimal place to pursue an idea and to find motivated comrades-in-arms. But the flair at the university does not fit after some time any more to a young enterprise.

Catering in the environment - luxury

With the change one loses also the apparent advantages of the university. The advantages of a cafeteria and cafeteria within walking distance are missing, but the opening hours have often left us in the lurch in the evenings. The chocolate bar that was bought the day before, but not eaten, is then worth gold. From the beginning of June it means self-catering and supply. It is a big hurdle to find a suitable internet provider. Not at all as easy as you might think - even if the glass fibre is there, this does not mean that it is affordable for a young company.

Office floors, elevator and reserved parking lots - not yet.

At this point, however, we would like to thank SEG - Stadterneuerungsgesellschaft Gelsenkirchen. Many things did not work out well in Gelsenkirchen. The renting, viewing and handling of the office buildings via SEG worked extremely well for this. At many other points we can still give tips that we young companies are not directly deterred by Gelsenkirchen. We are now starting to furnish and decorate our offices. We are looking forward to summer - we will inform you about a small inauguration party!
